The U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the opening of competition for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for the academic year 2008-2009.

This program brings accomplished mid-level professionals to the U.S. for a one-year, non-degree program of combined academic and professional opportunities in a variety of fields. It is highly competitive and addressed to the most qualified applicants in both the public and private sectors. Candidates should be between 35-50 years old, with at least five years of professional experience. Strong English skills are required. The Embassy coordinates the Humphrey Fellowship Program for Lebanon under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State's Office of Academic Exchanges.

Please note that applications must be submitted to the Embassy no later than August 31, 2007.
