Statement of purpose:
It pleases me to be running again for election for the board of WIT 2010-2012. As a board member, I would like to focus on two and only two things: fund raising and membership activities. Specialized training, speaking opportunities, and going to conferences are some of the examples of what I perceive as members activities and that I wish to explore and develop in the next 3 years. In fund raising, WIT should seek to secure its operating budget from donations. This will free it to program activities for its members, which is something we have not been able to do in the past because of lack of funding.
